Thoughts and prayers for Bob Sakimano

Saturday night may have been my last game in the Izzone, but I’m hopin it won’t be the last game I go to this year! As many of you know, the Big Ten tournament is in Chicago this year. I didn’t have plans to go since I am a broke college student. However, I’m thinking with a little help from waffle lovers from all around, we can witness another championship. The amount covers 3 days, 2 nights staying at a hotel somewhere in the downtown area (2 nights at about $200-300 total per night) gas costs ($100), the two sessions, and the championship that Michigan State would be playing in. Tickets are somewhere around row 10 in the lower level sections with a guest ($370 for 2 that Friday, $640 for 2 that Saturday and about $330 for 2 on Sunday). If all goes well, hopefully the next stop will be the NCAA Tournament. Every dollar counts!

I was at a seminar yesterday, dude rolls in with a wheelchair and some one offers to help him by moving a chair out from the table so he'd have a place to sit.

luckily only about half a mile.. after shouting out some obscenities, I hobbled back home... it's been a handful of days. I'm relatively okay - walking around, etc - no limp - just not back in running shape yet. Maybe by the weekend.
