I don't get what all the big fuss is about.

It's just an object that gets me from here to there.


I drive a car nice enough to not make me an outlier, and a car cheap enough to not empty my wallet like a buffoon.

Boomers are obsessed with cars in the Metro Detroit area, I actually think it's kind of sad.

You're too young, Bill. Not a big classic car fan but was on 16 Mile/Metro Parkway/Big Beaver today and saw a really nice 50's T-Bird convertible, a 70's (Smokey & The Bandit) Trans Am, and an AMC AMX headed toward Woodward. Beautiful cars.

Bill I'm going to give you a piece of advice that will help you in life. When you are in your 20s you are in a bubble, from my experience and observations. It is really hard for you to think about things from any perspective other than how they affect YOU. Try.

Cars are not my thing. But it's also easy to see that for the Boomer and older generation, especially in this area of the country, that was a huge part of their formative years. It's nostalgia for them. Nostalgia is awesome. Someday you'll look back fondly at those days when you were blowing dudes in the bathroom at N'Sync concerts and you'll long to recreate them at Rest Areas along I-475.
