I saw the end of the Steelers game. Crazy play on defense to force the fumble. I also saw a little bit of the Jets game and they look awful.

The Mahomes thing is not good. I'm sure medicine has come a long way in 20 years, but that was my original knee injury, and despite a lot of rehab and surgery, it's never been the same, always prone to happen again. Could very well be just the anatomy of my particular knees, as well.

Agreed. The MNF booth was trying to keep it light, but it was pretty clear to anyone paying attention that the cat was not having a good time.

I agree, but to Dwags point above it is animal abuse. I'm going to call the Giants see if they can point me in a direction to adopt the cat.

You really think it was someone's pet? There are feral cats all over the place. I felt bad for it, too, but thinking someone smuggled it into the stadium in their jacket and let it loose on the field as a prank? drunken

My favorite part about the game last night for sure was the meaningless defensive TD as time expired that lost me my NYG +13.5 end of my teaser.

Just got a contact at Bergen county adoption center. We will see. They are in at 1pm.

I don't know as skittish as ferals are, yes I see them all over the city and brooklyn I can't picture one just walking it's way into a stadium full of people.

It will be interesting to see what the NFL does, so far, Burfect's 12 games is the longest suspension and that was for a serial offender.
No doubt that last night was a very, very bad look for the entire league.

Also won't be surprising if some aspiring Cleveland politician tries to make this a criminal case.

my guess is that it's this year at least.

I don't think it's an overreaction to think that a lifetime ban should be considered. What he did, as you know, goes way beyond unnecessary roughness or unsportsmanlike conduct - he literally could've altered the trajectory of Mason Rudolph's life... if not worse.

Probably, guessing he's going to have to show adequate contrition and be a general good citizen until training camp next year.
