I mean, I hate the dodgers, respect Kershaw but not a big fan of any of them. However, when the GS was hit in the 10th, and you see their faces and when Roberts walked to the mound to change pictures, it looked like a dead man's walk. Like "Dude, that dinger has just cost me my job, this will be the last change I ever make for the dodgers".

I'm wondering if they look around and see a certain cubs manager out of a job and think to themselves, we've done great in the season, but maybe we need a bit more.

Is there data on how often that works out as far as taking your ace and on hardly no rest making him a reliever? I'm sure it works out sometime and when he came in in the 8th and struck out the guy on three pitches I thought, damn, but he left two hanging in a row the next inning. Wonder how often the ace who has already pitched a game or maybe two, can do well in that situation.

Big Poppy A-Arod and Frank Thomas all on post gaming saying that Astros had the pitches. Showed film of them talking to each other all three guaranteed that the way they took breaking balls from Glasnow, and swing at 98 MPH at head level, he was giving away pitches. Really interesting. They nailed it.
