Completely understand. You can only take so many kicks in the nuts. I don’t know that I can give up MSU though. Your college is different. To me anyway. Like a relative you love. I could give a rats ass about the tigers. I cant name their starters. I used to know their batting averages. I can take or leave the Packers. The years they sucked were liberating in that I knew I could give them up if they aren’t doing well. Do sundays with family don’t even think football. But I don’t know about MSU football or basketball. It’s different. I have nothing against those that want to jump off the football wagon. They seem to be giving us a big fuck you, and I get that. I just don’t think I can give the Spartans football and basketball up like I can professional sports teams I follow.

I watch every game I can, but I spend virtually no money going to games or anything.

And I certainly would never donate money to MSU. They've gotten more than their fair share of my money already.

I understand Saw’s feelings here,  but I think it’s almost impossible not to be drawn to the flame of MSU football and basketball.  

I was just thinking of the lyrics to hotel California,  I think those fuckers were talking about our addiction to MSU sports.  “I was thinking to myself this could be heaven or this could be hell”.  Is the girl MSU football and the hotel Spartan stadium and we’re the addicted guest?
