SE MI is basically going to be a biblical flood. The 69 corridor will be freezing rain.
I wish January would just do January instead of doing March.

It’s pouring here in EL. 1-2 inches of rain overnight, but it’s going to stay warm so won’t freeze until tomorrow afternoon. Then we’ll get more rain as temps fall, freezing, then high winds and snow. It actually could get ugly around here.

The young lady on WLNS wearing the jacket from the hit music video "Billie Jean" just said the cold front is moving through EL right now. It's 39 in East Lansing.. 54 thirty miles south in Jackson.

So my daughter wants to drive to East Lansing this morning. Some event the Dance team is doing and she wants to see it. Should I say no?

I hope she left when you posted a couple of hours ago, because it switched over to sleet/freezing rain about fifteen minutes ago. If she hasn’t left yet, lock her down. I’m in for the duration. Hate driving in freezing rain.

Temperatures are holding steady right at the freezing mark in Glencairn and all across East Lansing. That’s keeping a long, slow line of precipitation in flux between sleet, freezing rain, and slushy snowflakes, but preventing our streets, trees, and cars from becoming encased in solid blocks of ice.
