Calling for 6-10" with high winds and cold. We have a flight out of DTW at noon on Friday. Very leary of it getting canceled. Debating on booking a hotel down that way for Thur night. Probably should.

The biggest problem I see withe compact is that voting rights should be split according to coastline, and Canada should get maybe 8% for being just being Canada. The other 92% of voting rights is split among the states by miles of coastline. In other words, Indiana you get shit (and next year we're taking the spittoon back to boot). Pennsylvania gets even less of of vote and so on. So, it amounts to Michigan basically being able to veto any proposed siphoning.

btw, we always stay at the airport Westin when we have a morning flight. It’s no frills and clean, and it has its own gate, which means you skip the long lines in the rest of the terminal, which is freaking awesome for holiday travel. They also offer concierge parking which my wife loves and it’s not insanely expensive. Best part of that is on the return. Once you land, just text them and your car will be waiting for you and all warm and toasty.

Hell yes. We have to do everything to protect our liquid gold. Actually, fresh water will be way more valuable than any gold ever was.
