I was on the patio at the Brookshire many years ago and this guy in a Kayak docks in by the first tee. It was none other than John L Smith. Forget running with the bulls or climbing mountains. I knew right then he was a dare devil.

A cruise ship showed up last fall when I was at the Mackinac Island vacation wonderland. I'm not sure if anyone disembarked to partake in any of the horse and fudge festivities. The ship was gone the next morning when I woke up.
