He's hearing that Coach D might be changing his mind on keep everyone on-staff that isn't retiring. 4 coaching changes, 2 retirees and 2 that would be forced out.

Heard that, too. Swirling around that Coach D is going to find a place for him no matter what it takes. This could be one of the people forced out.

Re: Couch predicts 4 new Coaches
Just as a reminder, the coaches on 1 year contracts were Salem, Warner, Bollman, Staten, and Samuel.
https://www.freep.com/story/sports/college/michigan-state/spartans/2019/08/19/michigan-state-football-assistant-coaches-contracts/2046374001/
https://www.freep.com/story/sports/college/michigan-state/spartans/2019/08/19/michigan-state-football-assistant-coaches-contracts/2046374001/
The five assistants now must be notified between the end of the season and March 15 each year if the school intends to terminate their contract. Otherwise, their contracts automatically will be extended for the following season on April 1.

Couch noted that Dantonio was feeling pressure to make changes and he was starting to lose the fans. We did it everyone. Our voices were heard!

Back in the 80s when Watt’s daughter was getting married, we got invited because Mrs. GW knew the groom. She told me the bride’s dad was the football “office coordinator” and I didn’t think anything of it because it seemed like a logical job for a football program. I skipped the wedding because of work, and caught up at the reception. George and all the coaches were there. I asked my wife what the bride’s maiden name was, and she said Watts. I explained he wasn’t the office coordinator, he was the offensive coordinator. Back then, for me anyway, it was a big deal to be surrounded by all those FB guys. She didn’t seem to care.

Why am I not surprised that you were invited to the wedding because Mrs GW has friends.

Office coordinator offensive coordinator what’s the difference? I would give a weeks pay to see tGreenways wife trying to patiently listen to him telling her what in actuality his job was, the whole time looking through him thinking he could be telling her about LEGO’s and she’d be just as interested.

1996. That was the last time GW said something that Mrs. GW found even a little interesting.

Salem > Warner. Without a QB, though, I might as well be the OC.

Pretty sure Couch is Hondo's dear friend. Or they have never met. One of the two.

Maybe he heard about Enos
My guess...
- Bollman retires
- Treadwell retires
- Warner (and/or Staten) takes a job another school
- Samuel moved back to WRC (opens door for Barnett)
- D gets shuffled to make room for Barnett

Why not Treadwell as WRC? He was offensive coach trying to coach defense?

You'd have dwags 100% support. Run the touchdown play at least three times a half. Just do whatever you want the rest of the time.

Mo Watts might have been the OC, but it was a George Perles team. I think I could cover explaining the Trap and the Draw before Mrs. GreenWay’s eyes glossed over.
