I thought WBH started a thread on this a while ago but couldn't find it, anyway...

I haven't been big into video gaming for 20+ years. But about a month ago I grabbed a P4 on a whim. Looking like a good purchase right about now. We got the FIFA 2020 and Madden 2020. I got hooked into the Fortnite a few weeks ago.

Whatcha guys got? Gonna need something to replace the tournie.

I pretty much just play Minecraft any more. You do what the title says. Mine supplies. Craft shit. Build houses. Kill cows for meat. Go fishing.

I like GTA type of games for myself. LOVE RDR and RDR2. Maybe I'll replay RDR2. If anyone has any recs let me know por favor.

The boy got 2K20 from Santa. We play pretty much nightly. He sucks, so I will let him be like the All Time Lakers or Team Giannis and I am the Charlotte Hornets. It's usually competitive and Miles goes for 50+.

In around 2014 my young nephews demanded I play it with them, so I did. Then I said “okay what do I do?” And they said “you should build spartan stadium.” So I started. And then it seriously snowballed on me and it was all I did for awhile. I finished it, and it’s very impressive, but I don’t think I can ever play the game again.

I’ve been playing a lot of civilization vi lately but that’s a computer thing and not on consoles.

Fallout 4 is a good time, should be able to pick it up cheap. Might be good practice if this all keeps going to shit, might need those wasteland survival skills.

Do you have pics of your virtual Spartan Stadium?

My kid plays a lot of this with his friends on his school issued iPad. He likes to kill witches and stuff. He showed me a tower he built that was like a couple of thousand feet tall that he would just push people off of. Really productive use of school resources.

My friend gave me an Xbox 360 a few months ago.. probably a good time to get some time in.

Some games that seem to stick out: South Park Stick of Truth, Skyrim, BioShock, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, FarCry3, some sports games, Halo type shit, batman, and dishonored.

Playing so much Halo & Fortnite lately. Apparently CoD: Warzone is the new hotness in Battle Royale games. Downloading that right now. Single player, I'm still playing around with Borderlands 3.

Without looking it up, I would probably say about a 5-10 in a solo about 2 or 3 dozen in duos. I don't play solo that often. Maybe a dozen in squads, not that often either. I have one friend I game with all the time. yourself?

Try the plunder mode, its more about cash than trying to survive the entire match. Also, Warzone you NEED a squad with 3 people with mics on to be competitive.

I'm at 9 solo victories in roughly 175 matches. I think that is pretty good for only a couple months playing. I mostly play solo. No duo wins, but we've had a few 2nd places with the kids. Just haven't been able get that final kill. I'll have to see what my ID is.

I can't build for shit. So that hampers my end game. I've been stuck at 9 for a few weeks. Seems like this new season with the henchman has up'ed the amount purple/gold weapons, which isn't working in my favor. More bored teenagers that can multitask online now too... I can only do two things at once.

Not sure what changed but I've been winning a lot more frequently since the new season started. I suck at building too. Pretty good at straight combat, but building is not my forte. I play tons of Halo Multiplayer so I'm pretty decent at straight up shooters. That's probably why I haven't got into Apex Legends yet.

Thank god for XBox Games With Gold right now. Been playing the same games so much lately that I've started to download some of the games that I never bothered to play. About to start checking out some of the older games that used to be popular.
