I've gotta go with the mountain lion. They are majestic as fuck - haven't seen one yet. Hope to be that lucky one day!

Like all animals but wouldn't wanna be that close to a cougar in the wild.  Use to watch black bears foraging the dump near the cottage in the U.P. from the safety of the truck.  They never approached the vehicle but I wasn't gonna get out to see if they would.

Coolest thing I ever saw was a bald eagle cruising over the beach at Muskalonge SP.  Lot of people there that simultaneously STFU just to watch.  Wingspan was huge.

Had a bald eagle land probably 10 yards or less from me over by Ft Myers a few years back. Just for a second before flying away. There was a nest near there that we would see, but that landed so close to us it was crazy.

I'm going to give an honorable mention to Bison. Been a fan of them since Dances With Wolves.

I have some pictures of a capybara I took in Westland. I will upload them later tonight when I get back to my laptop.

I find the squirrels in the backyard highly entertaining but I’m going to go for the possum. They eat the grubs, ticks and clean up the yard so you don’t have to pay for the toxic TruGreen chemical treatments to the lawn.

Imagine picking a favorite animal from every species on the planet......and then choosing a fucking possum because it eats bugs.
