Never occurred to me that it might be whipped. That would explain why I didn’t like the texture. As to if I’ve ever had it before, I don’t know for certain. I do eat a good amount of Mediterranean foods, though.

Properly whipped garlic has a very small amount of texture to it. The term "garlic sauce" has no texture IMO...sorta like Arbys horsey sauce which has no horseradish texture.

Fresh whipped garlic is killer.
