Do you pre-mayo your turkey sandwich?
Gotta keep it moist. The right amount of mayo is the key to a good leftover turkey sandwich.

Guac is good but can never replace mayo on a sandwich.InTenSity wrote:replace mayo with guac.

Didn't know they made a "garlic sauce".
The best whipped garlic is made fresh. Even some Middle Eastern restaurants manage to screw it up.
The best mayo is also made fresh. SK mayo is the next best thing. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Mrs. Wifey bought a small jar of Sir Kensington’s garlic sauce. Only tried it once so far, but I wasn’t a fan.

Outside of the garlic sauce bottle says it’s a Moroccan recipe.

Never occurred to me that it might be whipped. That would explain why I didn’t like the texture. As to if I’ve ever had it before, I don’t know for certain. I do eat a good amount of Mediterranean foods, though.

Re: Do you pre-mayo your turkey sandwich?
Properly whipped garlic has a very small amount of texture to it. The term "garlic sauce" has no texture IMO...sorta like Arbys horsey sauce which has no horseradish texture.tGreenWay wrote:The Pantry wrote:Is that the only whipped garlic you've tried?

No. Steve is right this time. Spicy brown mustard is good on certain sandwiches sans mayo...like plain pastrami or ham.Nordic wrote:steveschneider wrote:Mustard spicy brown. No mayo.

I know your view on mustard. Mustard is great on cold cuts. Cold turkey might qualify, but real turkey is dry as fuck, needs mayo. We will agree to disagree.

I've never put mustard on a turkey sandwich because I inherently know it would suck.
