Dusty Hill ZZ Top bassist gone at 72.
Reported Hill died n his sleep at his Houston TX home. Th group had announced he was taking time off due to a hip injury last week.
ZZ Top was touring again with over 70 dates scheduled from August thru December including 5-6 dates at The Venetian in Las Vegas. Pretty good for that “Liitle ol band from Texas”

What we really need is a thread for dead celebrities and vips. Then, we might have heard this before now.

Since they’re old and/or dead, I’ll assume most younger Spartans don’t know Paul was a Spartan, too.

You're just mad that you didn't get to be the grim reaper this time. It's ok Greenway. More celebrities will die soon.

I saw ZZ top live many years ago. So many the show was at the air-conditioned Cobo Arena. They rocked but if may have something to do with the 10 joints we smoked during the concert. Hell, I think everyone of the 10k in attendance smoked 10 joints. You could barely see the stage by the end.

Hey, I got to bring the hammer down on what’s his name from Slipknot.
ETA: And the ZZ Top obit was posted in the proper thread before GRR’s selfish, attention-whoring post here.

Rush?
IDK about Rush, but Motown was definitely in a hurry to post Hanson.
