Teammates killing each other, then and now

15 years after U-Miami football player Bryan Pata was shot and killed execution-style, they've arrested a suspect....his team mate at the time, Rashaun Jones.

This arrest comes just days after a football player was shot and killed by a team mate (and two others wounded), also in Miami. This one involved players at ASA College, a Juco football program located down here.

I read about the Pata case yesterday on another site. Nowhere did I see what new evidence was discovered that lead to Jones' arrest.

Read the first link. Glad they caught him and what a sad story.

That second one was rough. Gotta find some lighter reading.

It sounds like it was a tip. In the article I posted the cop mentions how the community never stopped helping and then that out of 1,000 tips, one linked it all together. But they didnt really give more details. Sounds like someone that knew something got tired of keeping the secret.
