I'm a horrible asshole

I feel pretty fucking bad about something that happened today.
For the few of us in S. Florida we got some rain today, a lot of it at times.
I was heading to pick my daughter up from an after school activity. There is a light that you go through and then you need to get into the right lane to make a right to turn into the parking lot. There is a bus stop in the turning lane. I didn't realize how much water had puddled in that area, nor did I realize that someone was waiting for a bus, until I went through it at about 30 mph, with a huge spray of water, to see an umbrella trying to stop the water from hitting them.
I felt like the biggest fucking asshole in the world. Then to make it worse, who the fuck has cash on them anymore. I couldn't go back because I had to get my daughter. I'm just a huge fucking asshole who purposely sprayed someone with a huge wave of water, or that is what that person has to be thinking.
On top of all that. 1st world fucking problems.

But you didn’t actually do it on purpose. You said you didn’t see someone standing there, right?

The person is more at fault - common sense should tell you not to stand close to a fucking puddle on the road.  Only get close to curb when you see the bus coming, then step closer.  You did this person a favor - next time they won't be so fucking stupid.  Hope this makes you feel less like an ass.
