Universal studios Orlando

So I was at Universal this last weekend. One of my daughters friends birthday was last week and instead of having a party they wanted to go to Universal.  My first time.  If you are a Harry Potter fan,  you have to go.  My daughter is spoiled,  because of Kyle we get freeish express passes.  Anyway,  a few pictures.  We had fun.

Very cool inten. I bet the kids had a blast! Great family!!

No one would notice or care. I don't know if it was this weekend, or if Universal is considered more LGBTQ friendly, but there was a lot of holding hands around the park.

I last went 5 or 6 years ago. I am kinda a HP nerd. So I liked that a lot.

My oldest daughter read all the books day they came out, and usually finished reading them the same day. Way faster reader than I am. Been quite intrigued by the movies.

Only been to WDW once, in '77 on a spring break trip to Daytona Beach. Not sure the city of Orlando was even incorporated then. Bunch of us hopped a bus to go there. Back then WDW was miles off the freeway and in the middle of seemingly nowhere with not much around the park. Pretty amazing how Orlando has developed around it.

Been to Disney Land a couple times and Universal once out in CA. Was pretty cool seeing the Universal lot where many films were shot. They had a studio for Back to the Future. Wyff volunteered to be a subject. They had her grasping to the clock tower before lightning stuck with the green screen. She was quite the actress. I'd pay to see it again.

It's pretty cool even if you could care less about Harry Potter. They did an amazing job with the decor.
