I think Ross has vowed to not interfere with their (SCum) affairs. At least in the past. If he were to go there it would signal SCum is no longer interested in him as a coach and possibly Ross is cleaning their mess.

Couple of dominos. I think it means Fields stays with bears as QB1. That will affect draft day. Who do bears take #1? WR? TE? Who gets the #2 pick? Are QB’s slipping down the draft order? Does that push JJ back to Michigan?

I doubt JJ stays at Michigan. His stock will never be higher and he's likely a first round pick ( although I don't think he will be a good NFL QB).

I think for salary purposes they'll draft (and control) a QB (Williams) at #1.

Someone will trade for Fields. I think the Bears would take Atlanta's #8 pick in a heartbeat. I think the Falcons (or anyone) could get him for less. Unless his new team works out an extension.

I think he'll need some great workouts and/or Combine to go in the 1st Round. Could happen.

If I'm Norvell and Lanning, I'm not moving to Bama. They have things rolling in their current spots and don't have to deal with Bama fan blowback.

This gig might be a little tougher sell than it was a few years ago with Georgia, FSU, Oregon, etc. all getting on level ground.

I would take the alabama job in 3 years after the first guy that takes it gets fired for not winning 12 games a year. 

They’re going to be in a classic rebound fling with their next coach, it’ll never last.
