While i'm all for bringing down murphy for his bullshit, and undoubtedly murphy was a dick here, seems a tad thin to win.

Reporters do this implication game all the time, that's a big tool in their tool box for click generating. It's not right, but they maintain their bullcrap positions of saying truthful things and denying the implication because they didn't actually say something. It's like the whole bs retweets don't equal endorsements.

He 100% knew what he was doing (clicks) putting those two 'facts' in the same tweet. But I would be shocked if wins any legal battle.

Big corporations like ESPN would rather spend 10 million in court fighting for their dubious right to use that type of “journalism “ than giving the CMU coach 500K and an apology. It would set a precedent.
