Well, if you are conference champ and still not top 12... you need a new conference.

If they're going to twelve then they sure as fuck better be penalizing teams with ahem. Uhhhh 8 home games and a non conference of Hawaii, Colorado st, and uconn.

So supposedly the top six conference champions will be in, and 6 at large. The top 4 conference champions will get byes. So, with conference realignment, and the move to two mega conferences, there are going to be some pretty weak ass teams getting in, and some weak ass teams getting byes. Georgia would not have had a bye last year.

Of course, I also read that they have 4 years to figure out the details, so Inwould assume that's subject to change.

MSU could have made a serious run in 2013. With the exception of last year, I think MSU wins those first round games in the seasons where they don't have a bye. The NCAA has been catering to so few schools for so long they have basically robbed everybody else of a real chance to compete for a title.
