I've been to about a dozen MSU games at dyche stadium/ryan field. Including the coldest game ever in 2013. The wife I and bailed but my Dad stayed through the whole game. I know it's dump but I will miss it.

Glad they are building at the same site though and the new place looks really cool

It looks pretty sweet, but there is not much room around their stadium. Hell, there is a subdivision that backs right up to the practice field. You can sit on your deck and watch practice. I image there will be some pushback from the locals. Maybe they will move that to a different location.

They don't use the practice field anymore since they built the 260 million dollar late front facility Nordic.

It's spectacular.

Trying to practice on lakefront property would be such a distraction for me. My mind wanders enough as it is, but something like that would leave me even less focused on the pigskin.
