At this point, I wonder if Izzo would bench the highest minute players for the 2nd half of the game. I understand you want to try to win, but regular season is what counts and by the time the championship game is played the brackets are completed.

At senior day, and I’ve been to five of them now, for the first time ever, Izzo spoke about winning the Big Ten tournament and making a run in the NCAA tournament. I have never heard him say that.

I thought I read that he asked the seniors who have eligibility remaining to return next year and started a Izzone chant, was that incorrect?

He did. But to be fair it also happened before he told the crowd to do it again.

I don't think Purdue will win it all. I think Edey will get tired out in the 2nd half of game 2 (if they make it). This is no dis on Edey. I've seen big guys like him get tired out when they have to play 2 or 3 games in a row.

I'm not sure what you are watching, but who are they picking? Purdue has to be the by and far favorites. Did they give a reason for everyone but us, Wisky and Neb?

I think it's just that all the radio shows on college sports are focusing on Indiana and Purdue, then when talking aobut the other double bye teams they talk about Northwestern. And I do get that. Exciting to see then there. Then, it seems we get a quick mention. I know it's just talking heads that haven't done a deep dive into all the bball tournaments so they look at the top line and just do a quick break down.

By the way, Northern Arizona, who we beat back in November, and only has won 12 games, is playing to get into the NCAA tournament today. I remember they gave us a good second half.
