The rest of the story from The Athletic.

Brandyn Hillman is a 4* CB from VA who signed with ND in December.  He got released I from his LOI this month when ND admissions denied his application due to academics.  

“As you can see, I could have gone to any other school.  Notre Dame had requirements I had to meet and I didn’t meet” Hillman said

Hillman reopened his recruiting and signed with umaa over Ohio State, USC, and interestingly, Wisconsin. (Another academic myth or Fickell has gotten concessions) 

Couldn’t get past ND admissions but in aa?  Come on down!
