Agree with all of this. Also Aloft at the Whitney is the wife and my go to if we’re downtown for the night (stones concert Friday night tigers game etc). For any of the northern Michigan peeps who haven’t been in a while -it’s amazing what can happen in a city when you have a few people in government that realize it’s not about them, but us.

Been to many a dinner at Union Station with a show at the Fillmore the past couple years.

What a fun weekend you had Motown. Despite the games sucking.
It's nice you got to stay with friends to save money. When I stay downtown, I either stay in the recen, or in the westin.

I'm going to the msu basketball game on the 16th, and we have a babysitter for the night. We're staying in the westin. Which is nicer now than the recen. But obviously, not as good as the view in recen

There is no celebration of dear departed one's lives without a celebration and it sounds like you went all in on that. I'm sure he would be pleased.
