The idea being you’re not going to magically wish the gun problem and right wing extremism away. “they’re armed and they’ll use them, you better be prepared” seems to be the motto.

I believe it's a fallacy that libs/left don't have guns. This is merica for God's sake. Everyone has a gun or inherited their grandpa's or whatever. I have 5 or 6.

None are semi auto military type weapons. But still.

I don't own any, I kind of want to though so I can be prepared when (not if) the fascists attack. Unfortunately I would be facing strong opposition from tWife on that front and I don't care enough to challenge that. I'll just arm myself with knowledge, a combination of chemistry and "living off the land", both useful skills in a right wing apocalypse for either self defense or all out avoidance of encounters with people (in order to eat)

a) I'm really, REALLY white.

and..

b) I have my share of ink but I went stealth in the picture. I don't need to be walking down Grand River and ladies following me because they have reason to believe it's their favorite message board personality because they may have recognized few tattoos.
