He reportedly is suspending 3rd vote for speaker and is supporting a plan that allows Speaker Patrick McHenry (R-NC) to continue as temporary Speaker until January 2024.

Here's the bullshit with that vote. Only 25ish would publicly vote no. I thought I heard somewhere around 80 or 90 voted no when no one can identify who voted that way. This afternoon, Congress passed a new continuing resolution necessary to fund the government past the upcoming deadlines in the previous continuing resolution. Those deadlines were tomorrow (January 19) and February 2. The deadlines in the new measure are March 1 and March 8. This is the third continuing resolution passed in four months as extremist Republicans have refused to fund the government unless they get a wish list of concessions to their ideology.

Not sure not being 100% bat shit crazy is that much of a recommendation for a House Speaker who is 95% bat shit crazy, but it is a small candle in the darkness of the Republican Party.
