Where were you on January 6 2021?

I think it’s a fair question to ask today… where were you when you heard the news that day? 

Today, out of nowhere, may very well go down in history as a very similar day. I think it’s important to note days like today in the moment so that you can look back on it in the future and reflect, just like we do with 1-6-21.

I was on a sight-seeing trip out in the Mid-Atlantic region. Nothing more.

Flying home from New England.  

Never saw a TV or had check the interwebs until we got home.

Had just finished reading Hett’s Death of Demcracy:  
Hitler’s Rise to Power and The Downfall of The Weimar Republic and told my wife I hoped the US government would stop this shit out like bugs on a sidewalk.

They didn’t and here we are.

if you believe assault rifles and bibles can be reduced to something as trivial as 'politics', you are amplifying how fundamentally connected you are with the moral decay of America and, furthermore, it suggests that you have never gently massaged either of them with warm, scented oils.
