Dude was cooler than the entire constituency of tSwill.
I wonder if the MSU SMB still plays Rubberband Man. It used to… every single year. It was fun working in the yard and hearing the band practice playing that song in the days leading up to the next home game.

I believe the band took it out of the rotation after JTM's exit. It was always more of a Madds favorite than an actual SMB staple.

I think that is the best way to describe the SMB under JTM. Classic rock from the 70s and 80s were absolutely our wheelhouse. I personally miss some of those old go-tos, but nothing wrong with changing it up to keep it relevant for the youths, I guess.

I was five years old I think pop tarts were new.  Back then we only had half day for kindergartners, so I was home alone with mom.  She was upstairs cleaning or taking a shower and I got into the two boxes of pop tarts she had bought for the family  I ate all of them  got Violently sick and threw them up about an hour later Â
Have not had a pop tart since  I’m thinking that was 1966  So what does that make it 56 or 57 years ago?

The article said Pop Tarts made their debut in 1964. I honestly thought it was about 1970.

My mom wouldn’t buy me both Pop Tarts and Tang, and since she always bought frozen oj from concentrate, which sucked, I always went with Tang. Great substitute if you’re a kid. She also never bought me a Jiffy Pop popcorn, which to this day I’ve never had. It’s safe to say I was a victim of child abuse.
