I still believe MSU is a top-four team in the Big Ten. I don’t think that’s a hot take. It’s Purdue, Wisconsin, Illinois and the Spartans. And, two months from now, heading into the Big Ten tournament, it’s more likely than not that MSU has 13 or 14 league wins, 21 or 22 wins overall and a double-bye in Minneapolis.“

14 wins would mean we go 13-2 in the rest of the games.

Perhaps a little over optimistic but I pretty much agree. Losing last night should not have been a big deal. It's a hard place to win and the Illini are good. Losing to Nebraska and Northwestern ( also two decent teams) is the problem. Gotta win those games.

Now the pressure is really on. I still think this team makes the tourney but the margin for error is slim.

Getting Kohler in game shape, and getting 6-8 points/game from him would be huge.
