Minnesota has too many holes to have put themselves in a position where they only have 3 picks left next year

The lions probably jumped the packers pick again this year, after pulling Gibbs out from under them last year they must be getting real annoyed by that

Packers lost two linemen. I like this pick.    Really need this guy.  Especially since they added Andre Dillard in the off season. They’re better there next year.

They also added a great safety in McKinny.  The bring back Jaire Alexander, Keisean Nixon, Eric Stokes and Carrington Valentine,

They have Jacob’s and AJ Dillion in the backfield it’s why they let Aaron Jones go. They were loaded there last year and this year no way they were taking a RB in the first round.  

I thought a tackle was the play. We’ll see.  They need to add to their receiving crew.  But I think Reed will explode.

I look for defensive skilled people and receivers tomorrow going forward. They’re switching to a 4-3.

And while I don’t fully buy into the NFL conspiracy theories against the lions, I think they showed the NFL it would be a good thing to showcase this team for the league.

I didn’t want him on the lions because Iowa plays mostly zone and the lions do not. Beyond that, yeah I mean he could be a decent pick for somebody for sure

The NFL Draft has been a guilty pleasure of mine for a long time. There is no way I wasn't going to experience it. I did like it more when it started on Saturday at noon and I could listen Kiper and McShay battle while I was fighiting of my still young-guy hangovers. I always used that weekend to clean out the garage while listening to the later picks on the radio. Fuck I'm getting old.

Now it is a big TV production for commercials. Every pick somehow just somehow happens use all 10 mins of the clock. The delayed pick announcements so they can shove in TV commercials was nauseating. Watching it live, they have two MCs and a band. They both fucking suck and you just want them to read the pick. Just pump in the NFL Network, ESPN or ABC feed. We are here for football, not saxophone solos.

That said, the stage setup is fucking amazing. It is a sight to behold. It is enormous, The lights bright as hell and video boards are amazing. No matter how close we tried to get, we were still miles away from making out faces. And no mater how far away you are, you could see everything on the video boards and still felt like you were watching from the first row. It was pretty fucking cool being their with the Lions fan masses.

TL:DR: It was pretty sweet. We had a shit ton of fun.

Not happy about not having a 3rd Round pick tonight. But at the time I was ecstatic they traded up. It saved me 50 mins of my life (i.e. drive home/sleep)
