Wife and I were talking at dinner tonight. What is the last sitcom we even watched I think for both of us it was Seinfeld. His friends after Seinfeld?

I don’t think despise is the correct word. More like, we don’t find the appeal so, unappealing. I’ll tell you what…I’ll commit to watching a season of Last Man Standing and report back with honest feedback. Give me a few weeks.

My advice is watch one of the six ABC seasons. LMS wasn't that good after Fox picked it up.

I was a fan of his stand up at first, it was original. The first sitcom was ok the first couple seasons...

Home Improvement was limping through its last 2 seasons. But Allen's a safe bet. Home Improvement went 8-9 seasons with 200 shows and Last Man Standing about the same. 20 years 2 shows and close to 400 episodes. A perfect formula for risk averse producers.

Almost as exciting as the spinoff of Young Sheldon about his brother who was 19 when he married his 30 year old wife.

Have to hand it to Chuck Lorre who can sell CBS on this show based on his past success.

Modern family, parks n rec, and the office are all great if you haven’t seen them.

I don't have anything against Tim Allen. I never watched Last Man Standing because it was marketed as a show for old white conservative men, so I figured they don't want me watching.

As mentioned above, I’m not sure how Pantry came to think anyone despised him simply because so few of us liked his show(s). I’m still a big fan of Galaxy Quest.

You should check it out. One of the son-in-laws is based on Travis.

For those of you with access to Canadian TV, they have some great sitcoms.

Of course there is one of the greatest in Kim's Convenience. Currently Son of a Critch is great and Running the Burbs isn't too bad.

Yes. Along with CYE. I guess I didn’t think of HBO. I loved her chief of staff. He’s doing the phone commercials now.

No.i think it has a lot to do with the stage you’re at with family. Kids ages and their activities etc

Lorre is not involved with Allen's new show FAIK, which will be on ABC. Read Lorre and Sheen patched things up and a new show is coming out.

"Mom" is a pretty funny Lorre creation IMO. Sort of the polar opposite of Two and a Half Men.

I really like New Girl. Watched it twice doing Peloton workouts.
