Like I said elsewhere....I mostly agree. I think we were the better team last year and see no reason that has changed going into next year, especially hosting them at SS at night.

That being said....halftime at Lucas Oil was slightly uncomfortable. So I'm happy he gone.

If Braxton Miller is out, Ohio State returns 19.1% of their rushing yards and 0.1% of their passing yards.

Hate to see injuries like that, and I hope he gets better. Makes us the clear favorites now, so hopefully we seize this opportunity.

His shoulder could heal sufficiently enough that we see him in EL. Just not at QB.

Well, he's been hurt since January, and re-injured his shoulder simply by throwing the ball. He has to prove he's healthy.

More than that, he needs to show that he can throw the ball. There was a key 3rd down in the CCG where he didn't have a single receiver option, and we stopped him. Urban didn't trust him to throw it, why would NFL teams?

I think this ends up being a good thing for osu. I didn't really believe in Braxton at all, he reminds me of armpunt heisrisen mcribinson but mildly better at passing. If this barret kid is any good, which I think he could be, then he'll get to gain some significant game experience without having to be the man up until they come to el. At worst they lose and maybe lose one other game and still go 10-2, that's the floor with that schedule and Urbans affinity with hammering lesser teams.

The va tech game becomes very interesting because they play such good defense and they put themselves in a position to win every game, but i Don't see a way they lose again.

Plus, when Barrett takes over next year he'll have significant game experience instead of garbage time against Illinois. Makes a difference for the future.

It's just a tweak. He'll be back in three games. Then when he gets sacked by one of our DE, that shoulder will explode live and on camera. He'll limp off the field, head down drooling.

It's definitely a positive for a team when their Heisman Trophy candidate goes down with an injury...
