Why does it take so long for a sofa?

A 3-month wait for delivery? Really?

Even if the damn thing isn't made until someone puts in an order, why three fucking months? It's not being made to spec. It's a standard-sized sofa, FFS.

Serious answer - furniture is big...good furniture is what you want, not off the rack so to say....so you have to wait for them to make it most times.
