Seriously. Did you guys know that the number 87 jersey Funchess was wearing was a "legends" number? Now they gave him the #1 "Legends" number. So, that when the legends #98 throws it to him now, he sees #1, but the issue becomes who will wear #87, which will be a team secret until they decide and then give the Legends #87 to a new guy which was worn by another guy in 2012, but in 2013 was worn by the guy who wore #1 last week.

The fuk?

"Michigan head coach Brady Hoke was asked about the current situation with Ron Kramer's No. 87 Legends Jersey that was previously worn by wide receiver Devin Funchess, who is now wearing the No. 1.

Hoke said the Wolverines have no current plans for the jersey, but that they will not pre-announce plans for it either. Many believe that sophomore tight end Jake Butt will eventually be the recipient of the jersey, but as Hoke noted, there is no current timetable for the fate of the jersey.

It has been worn by both Funchess and former tight end Brandon Moore, who was the first to wear the jersey in 2012."

Dwags, I know you're not a fan. And I'm not really a "fan" either, but I do listen occasionally. Valenti is absolutely right about their program. He couldn't be more right.

Right now, they are hanging on to ghosts and legends. It's a total joke. I mean, good for them that they have such a storied history. But holy distraction. You can't fall back on that shit forever, and they're trying to. It's comical. The 98 jersey? The 1 jersey? Team #whatever? Just. Not. Relevant. "The Michigan Way". "Michigan man". "This is Michigan."
