Yeah, the conjuring was really great for a horror movie. I expect this will live up to that level of terror

I should give it another go. I heard good things but only made if 5 minutes in - the start looked like a bad Child's Play remake!

I'll throw The Grudge in the mix as well. I find Sarah Michelle Gellar as annoying as fingernails on a chalkboard, but that movie was good enough to overcome that

Anyone see Anti-Christ? I watched out of morbid curiosity, knew about one part, so I left the room and came back after. The camera work was great, the story was...well fucked up. Is this OT?

The beginning was probably the toughest part to watch. The rest of it is shock value, but that part was rough.

I demand a lot out of a horror movie. It has to make me uneasy. That means compelling story and good acting, not just gore or things jumping out at you. If I watch these movies y'all are talking about and come back disappointed there will be consequences. So now tell me again. Are The Conjuring and Sinister good horror movies?
