Inaugural Ephorate

All, please see the updates to the charter.  This will be the last update to the governance model for a while.  Due to circumstance, I am appointing some posters to the inaugural Ephorate in order to maintain board consistency and in hopes of minimizing any impact this has on the day-to-day functioning of the community.  

I am appointing the following memebers to the innaugural Ephorate:

Board Steward - Me
Operations Ephor - Heat Miser
Secretary-General Ephor - Nigel Uno

That leaves open spots for advocate and outreach.  Please let me know if you are interested in filling one of these spots.  Advocate should be a lawyer and outreach should live in East Lansing, as you will be arranging tailgates and such.

I nominate Tanfan to be the advocate....licensed to practice in MI and Florida(maybe more) and has a MI judge in his back pocket(tJudge likes to have fun at tailgates).

SeeRock, it depends on the duties and responsibilities. Nedgo would probably be the best IMO because he's in Michigan and he's more in touch with MSU and East Lansing than either Tanny or me. Of course, I'd be more than willing to help in any way possible, when needed.

Don't over-complicate. It's just an advisory role at this point, nothing "official". Just kind of like "hey, you might want to consider...". kind of stuff. I just think it's important to have someone keeping half an eye open.

I nominate gHost for the advocate thinger.

I would like to be in the euphorate, but I don't want any real responsibility. I would just like to have a title to lord over people, and geronte isn't exclusive enough. There should be one ceremonial, non-responsibilities having euphorate position, in my opinion. Being that this would essentially be a popularity contest, I have no delusions that I'd actually get it, but maybe someday...

A.)The Gerousia will be a lot more exclusive as new posters come here.
B.)If you're willing to set up tailgates and shit, you could be Outreach. But that would be some work.
