Don't be fooled by kingston's inability to comprehend what I've been posting. I wasn't hunting in cornfields; I was hunting in woods next to cornfields.
Don't ever follow Kingston ever. He'll lead you astray every single time.

No look at her shoulder, that is where the exit wound is. It was a heart shot. The blood trail looked like someone was pouring red paint. She went 40 yds and dropped.
here is the entrance.

Hit me up....
Congrats.
Also, update on me and the boy going hunting: It was quality time. He coughed and cleared his throat a lot. He's 7, so meh.... He got to glass the woodline for 2.5 hours and it was cool cuz he stuck it out in 23 degree weather for longer than I'd have thought. Good boy, that kid....

Where do you hunt? Sunday morning was calm. But other than that yes it was windy and every deer I saw not on Sunday morning was on high alert.

Bee,
Instead of worrying about putting Christ back in Christmas, maybe you should focus on putting Christ back in Christian. Joking about wanting a fellow poster to get shot just ain't cutting it with your Maker.

Bonus hunt in Alpena County. January 1-4 and 11-14. Has to be on private land. They’re paying land owners to allow hunting on their land.

20 years later they're still trying to get a handle on the TB. Still getting cows infected as recently as this fall. They should have eradicated the deer herd back then and the crisis would have been over in a couple years, instead half measures have allowed it to linger on.

Moose crowded by onlookers on shore drowns in lake
South Hero, Vt. – A moose drowned in Lake Champlain after people crowded around the animal to take its picture, Vermont wildlife officials said.
Fish and Wildlife Warden Robert Currier said the moose swam across the lake from New York to South Hero, Vermont, on Saturday. He said it made it onto land but was forced back into the water, likely feeling threatened by onlookers. The moose succumbed to exhaustion and drowned.

Illegal moose should’ve stayed where it came from. Got what it deserved.

Sorry but if you don't see the difference between making a clear joke in a hunting thread after you tried to politicize hunting (who is anti hunting btw?? Anyone??) And immediately politicizing the death of a US Senator you have lost your mind. That's right, you already lost your mind on such topics long ago.

The anti hunting narrative is just another boogeyman he sides himself against in his own head. Fascinating to observe.

Good thing they all kept that in mind at his funeral and before.

Re: Swill Deer Hunting Thread.
And it's no surprise that simply holding an opposite viewpoint from the vast majority here is "losing my mind". Viewpoints that are shared by somewhere near 50% of Americans are considered outlandish here.
That's the real mind bender, that you feel I'm out of the mainstream of America. It completely ignores the electoral reality all over the country and in DC.
I was much more respectful to McCain than many on the left are to other Rs that die and they never get whacked here. But carry on. The chorus here has driven most of the other conservatives out, soon the purge will be complete.

I have no idea what you're talking about dude. You are battling ghosts. I'm sorry that you feel people in the media or on social media or on tBin politicized hunting. Or Mccain. Or anything. That doesn't make it cool to do on this board. This is why you're losing your mind. Not because of your political leanings.

Re: Swill Deer Hunting Thread.
Read all about your hero McCain - he was a fraud. And this has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the POWs he fucked over in SE Asia. This story is over 8 years old and was written before that. Oh and I'm sure many will question who wrote it so let's cover that 1st:
Was Rambo Right?
McCain and the POW Cover-Up The “war hero” candidate buried information about POWs left behind in Vietnam.
Read it all and then come back and tell me how you love him.
He was a vindictive jackass and at the funeral his family proved the acorns didn't fall far from the tree.
Yet consider the source. The author of that remarkable 8,000-word exposé—“McCain and the POW Cover-Up,” published on The Nation Institute’s website—was Sydney Schanberg, one of America’s foremost Vietnam War journalists. His reporting won him a Pulitzer Prize, and his subsequent book on Cambodia was made into “The Killing Fields,” an Oscar-winning movie. Schanberg later served as one of the highest-ranking editors at the New York Times, with a third of the reporters at our national newspaper of record working under him. A case can be made that no living American journalist can write with greater credibility on Vietnam War matters. And he had labored for years researching and exhaustively documenting the story of American POWs abandoned in Indochina—a story that if true might easily represent the single greatest act of national dishonor ever committed by our political leaders.
Was Rambo Right?
McCain and the POW Cover-Up The “war hero” candidate buried information about POWs left behind in Vietnam.
The sum of the secrets McCain has sought to hide is not small. There exists a telling mass of official documents, radio intercepts, witness depositions, satellite photos of rescue symbols that pilots were trained to use, electronic messages from the ground containing the individual code numbers given to airmen, a rescue mission by a special forces unit that was aborted twice by Washington—and even sworn testimony by two Defense secretaries that “men were left behind.” This imposing body of evidence suggests that a large number—the documents indicate probably hundreds—of the U.S. prisoners held by Vietnam were not returned when the peace treaty was signed in January 1973 and Hanoi released 591 men, among them Navy combat pilot John S. McCain.
Read it all and then come back and tell me how you love him.
Reporters simply never ask him about it. They didn’t when he ran unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination in 2000. They haven’t now, despite the fact that we’re in the midst of another war—a war he supports and one that has echoes of Vietnam. The only explanation McCain has ever offered for his leadership on legislation that seals POW files is that he believes the release of such information would only stir up fresh grief for the families of those who were never accounted for in Vietnam. Of the scores of POW families I’ve met over the years, only a few have said they want the books closed without knowing what happened to their men. All the rest say that not knowing is exactly what grieves them.
Isn’t it possible that what really worries those intent on keeping the POW documents buried is the public disgust that the contents of those files would generate?

You went political and I responded in kind. Weird you’d do that when you’re always complaining these things should be in tBin. But I guess it’s okay because you did it and then get to play martyr after youre pounced on by those who have another viewpoint.
