Given the statement I take it that he hasn't been able to take classes over the summer or this fall semester. So the NCAA basically wasted a year of his life? What has changed that allows him to enroll now? It is not like his high school grades have changed since May.

But this is good news and I am happy for him. And good for coach Dantonio to keep a spot for him given the situation. We are lucky to have two class individuals at the head of our two revenue generating sports.

** Edit: My mistake I was thinking of Deon Drake. NCAA still blows and we are still lucky to have Dantonio and Izzo. **

I really like what Coach D had to say about him. Seems like an outstanding player on and off the field, and I like that the staff thinks he can play any of the three LB positions.

Definitely have a bright future at LB.

I think he's a senior in high school right now, is graduating early, and then enrolling at MSU in January.

This kid has a 4.4 GPA. He's graduating early, not late.
