Let me bitch about something else that's been buggin' me for the past 30 or so years!

Why do we need specialist kickers in the great game of "foot"ball??  You got a game played for 59 minutes by big, strong, fast young men, and then, for that 1 minute, you trot out a little soccer player to kick/punt the ball and potentially decide the game for the aforementioned big, strong, fast young men???  WHY???

They need to get rid of the specialist and make it a rule where a regular starter (at any position) must do the kicking/punting.  It can be one player doing the kicking and another player doing the punting - doesn't matter - as long as they're starters at other positions.

Oh, and about that playoff committee poll last night....JUST WIN BABY! We're in good position. I think we'll slide in under the wire if we just win out.

Because it's really hard to do.

The absolutely LAST thing football needs is MORE rules.

I have always been fascinated by kickers. The rest of the team pretty much shuns them all the time, but a kicker will approximately 20% of the time win or lose a game for you. Outside of a QB, what single position can be that impactful that often?

I just made that stat up. I wouldn't be surprised if it's close though.
