Anyone Catch the 30 For 30 Last Night on Brian Bosworth?
pretty interesting.. what caught me is that he wasn't that much different then from what a lot of players are like now. I suppose he was just the first to be so brash about it at the college level - the ego, the showmanship, etc. Really seemed like a humble guy now who has owned up to a lot of the mistakes he made.

I agree.. seems like a good guy who pretty much hit rock bottom, managed to climb out and express a lot of regrets, make amends with people.. while still moving on with life.NigelUno wrote:He actually came across as a likable guy.
though a bit contrived, I liked the way it was presented with his son.. I read that the guy who made the film said that The Boz had never seen most of the stuff in the storage unit - didn't even know it existed.

I think he was reconciling a few things in his head with his dad.

definitely..NigelUno wrote:

his son seemed cool, too - I thought it was pretty cool when the kid thought the NCAA tshirt was the coolest thing ever and Brian didn't get mad at him - almost like he understood why a 15-16 year old kid in 2014 would think that it was cool, not fully understanding what it represented.
it showed me that he (Brian) had really accepted and found some peace with his behaviors, actions, etc - had he gotten really upset with his son, gone off on him, etc., it would've been rooted in him still being upset with himself.

The part at the end where he was shooting the shit with Switzer was pretty cool. The storage locker stuff was a bit contrived though. Pretty solid overall.

He seems like a good guy now but if that book was as bad as they say I am surprised he is allowed back at OU

I kind of thought the same thing..Herbie Green wrote:He seems like a good guy now but if that book was as bad as they say I am surprised he is allowed back at OU
though time heals a lot of things. And I'm sure he's reached out and been very humble and contrite with them... also says a lot about his words and actions that OU has welcomed him back. Probably says a lot about OU too.

At the end of the day, he won them a lot of football games. That's all that really matters.

At the end of the day, no one likes the phrase at the end of the day.
