I also don't own Spartan Mag, or Mac Rumors, or The Verge, or Reddit, but I visit those "boards" occasionally. It's good to have choices.

So if I visit someone else's tailgate on a football Saturday, does that mean I hate my own tailgate?    That's not how the internet works. Most major college sports programs have multiple boards. There's no reason why this board can't carve out it's own niche like Hondo did with Spartan Nation.

As far as sinking, I'm guessing you haven't been around the RCMB long enough to know its history or how it's evolved over the years. Some thought the ship sank when we moved to threads in the mid-1990's. I thought the ship sank in the late 1990's. Others thought the ship sank  when we joined Rivals.com. The Taters thought the ship sank in the early 2000's. Tanfan and blanch thought the ship sank even back in the vBulletin days. Others thought the ship sank when the site joined 247Sports. What's interesting is that the board has always managed to evolve just fine. I see no reason why right now would be any different.

Just keep in mind that your favorite things about the RCMB historically, aren't necessarily other people's favorite things, or mine. Different strokes.

Pretty sure that if someone hates my board and how I manage it, I seriously doubt I'll miss them much on my board.

Besides, I thought SeeRockCity created this board. He's said several times that he wants me to participate here and just said he's visited the RCMB several times today.

This is 100% correct.

And just to be absolutely crystal clear here.  I fully expect a dialog over time as everyone gets to tell their side of whatever story it is that needs to be told.  Trevor doesn't need me or anyone else to fight his battles etc., but even so, I'd officially like to encourage a healthy, respectful dialog but that's about it.  I fully expect that at some point, we'll all clear the air and we can go back to being a bunch of nerds hanging out together on a couple of different message boards.  I really look forward to that day.

In the mean time.  Let's just keep it honest and respectful.  If you ask a question and find that it gets answered, then accept that answer and move on.  Life is awesome but often too short, let's not over complicate it.

Pretty sure you don't really understand what this place is...Not formed out of hate or how Trevor ran it. A large percentage of the users here are also still active on the 247 board.

I have a Google Nexus 4 and love it, faster and way more fun to use than my work issued iPhone 5c. I will say that the iPhone seems to have a better battery but it is only a few months old so I don't expect that to last.

Looking for a new phone. Anyone have recommendations between the HTC One and Galaxy S5? I've preferred the Samsung phone I have to the HTC phone I had before that, but maybe only because it didn't have any Samsung shit on it and my HTC had all sorts of their crap you can't get rid of.

What are your needs? If you don't like a lot of crap on it why not the Nexus 5 (unless you are on Verizon)? the HTC M8 or Galaxy S5 are both very good high end phones but have a price point to match. Buying on contract or off?

Have you checked out the One Plus One? Seems like a very good deal considering specs, price and no contract.

How are you liking your N5? I've had mine for a few months now and really like it. Nearly perfect size, great specs, zero lag and no contract.

The phone locked up once at a very inconvenient time, but other than that, zero issues.
