MSU @ ND hoops tonight

Based on the fact that we have 3 very good upper classmen, a developing underclassman big, a Senior transfer who poured in 18+, a soph who has been injured who flashed potential next year, and 3 freshman who will contribute. And a Hall of Fame coach.

Anyone want to bet me we go better than .500 in the Big Ten? I can't believe you guys are overreacting to November/early December games.

gotta see this team with Ellis before I jump, but we struggle to get to the rim.


I'm already sick of Trice's step-back long 2s. such a bad shot. take a 3 or drive and dish.

We have some really good passers on this team.

Stunned by the lack of awareness this team has shown at times. Especially late in games.

Thought Dawson looked pretty good most of the game.

Every game i watch, i start to hate college ball more and more. just a tough sport to watch most of the time.

I would like to see tum tum drive to score instead of looking to pass as options 1,2, and 3

I agree with almost all of that. ^^^

And I think Trice took a lot of those shots because the team was but-ass tired and no one was flashing to the ball, thus options were limited. He knew they weren't going to be running any clean offensive sets and he had to create. Same with Denzel late. I was impressed with Schilling in the low post late. He showed energy and awareness.

But....I mean....what in the name of JFC makes you guys think we're not going to get better at this stuff by leaps and bounds over the next few months?

We don't have blue chip talent right now like Kentucky and Kansas and Duke. But this will be a solid, solid team. We will challenge for the regular season Big Ten title, and won't be a question to make the tourney.

We were physically over matched in the backcourt. Maybe that will change with Bess and Ellis but its hard to think replacing Trice and Forbes makes the team better. Tum Tum has been a liability.

We are just a shooting team - one of the best I have seen at MSU so far. Sadly, we are playing much better than I thought we would but we are still losing.

Trice and Denzel simply need to become more comfortable operating down the stretch. This team can actually score more than I thought it would.

Sucks not getting Wisky at the Brez. Must beat UM and OSU at home.
