Whoever did that is a disgusting individual. Since cases like this seem to be somewhat rare, I'm not sure what message there is to spread. I doubt we ever hear about the killers, maybe someone will bump this thread when they are found. It would also surprise me if they survived in prison.

Sounds like someone tried to burn the body inside the car to destroy evidence but she wan't yet deceased and was able to escape only to die of burns after suffering for several hours.

That's just fucking horrible. Perpetrator(s) should be bludgeoned to death slowly with clubs made of salt.

The perpetrator of this crime is more than disgusting, they are plain old evil. Nothing you or anyone else does will ever change or rehabilitate this person.
Best for all to remove them from the population, permanently.
Now we can discuss the best, non emotional, approach to doing that.

That probably has more to do with a perception that authority figures are abusing their position to assassinate innocent people, rather than a random evil person that lights people on fire.

This country has been on bleeding heart anabolic steroids for so long it's lost it's balls for consequences. Does revenge give a temporary euphoria? Damn right it does but even better the long term effects of consistent meaningful consequence can be lasting for other vermin. Bleeding hearts will refute that. How would they know? There's never been enough consistent data to prove otherwise.

And it's impossible to prove. If some other rodent sees a cute young girl and thinks: "Boy, I'd like to rape, torture, and set her on fire, but if I do they are going to go to work on me with a blow torch and set of pliers, so I'll just go on my way instead!" No one will know that, ever.

If torturing this/these pieces of crap prevents just one other incident like this from occurring, it'd be worth it.

Actually there's all sorts of data that clearly shows that there is no real relationship between fear of corporal punishment and a decision not to do a crime. And also, when you are trying to say that something works, it's your job to prove it works, not a skeptic's job to prove it doesn't.

It's like the "prove god doesn't exist" logical fallacy that many people point to. Not my job. Prove it does.
