I continue to be more and more amazed and proud that after over 40 years of being a loyal Spartan football fan that we finally have the coach who I always dreamed about. A guy who wins with integrity. A guy who places doing it right, and the welfare of the kids above all. Thank you coach. Also thank you Lou Anna Simon and all others involved in the hire, for your wisdom to pick this man for the job. It feels as great to be a Spartan fan as I could imagine. As a matter of fact I can't think of another major college athletic program, (both hoops and football) who can compare for the whole package: Doing it right (no cheating), taking care of the kids, winning, and all with the utmost class and integrity. Just makes you want to tear up a bit. 

I love this program.

Anyone know if the recruits were at the Awards Dinner? Would love for them to have heard DD's comments.
