OTPT is correct. If you don't put Reeses in the fridge/freezer for a while, the bottom layer of chocolate peels off attached to the wrapper.

Maybe you guys just keep your abodes too warm. Never have melt related issues in my apartment. But I also can't be trusted to keep Reese's Peanut Butter Cups on hand and not eat the whole bag (no matter what size) in one sitting, so maybe I just don't leave them alone long enough for them to get warm.

Couple of things. Take a bite of a refrigerated, nice and cool strawberry and follow that up with a refrigerated Hershey bar or Reese‘s peanut butter cup. And then go back to the strawberry.

Let’s just say that, Reese was basically running the factories in Pennsylvania for Hershey when they fired him. He went home to his kitchen depressed. At the time there was no in-store peanut butter like you and I know that there is now. It wasn’t a ready, staple in America in any kind of store.


Anyway, he was a bigwig at Hershey before they fired him. It’s a really good series. PBS. The food that made America. Did you guys know that white castle was producing fast food in the 1920s in the third place that they ever opened up a business in Detroit?
