Nope. Even if it was accurate, I grew up in Michigan and used to walk to school in a couple of feet of snow. I know how to handle the snow, i don't like it but I can deal with it.

The panic leading up to this stuff is the issue...last night NYC looked post apocalyptic. It was like Marshall Law and the cops were out ready to fine people that were out. I find that pathetic.

I have zero problem with the media hyping the storm. People won't take any storm seriously if they aren't told that it will be the worst ever. Say what you want about hyping it for ratings, but at the end of the day it likely saves lives and/or prevents injuries and/or prevents accidents. And if they didn't hype it, and someone dies, then idiots blame the media for the death.

yeah... people aren't big on being held accountable for things.

Wasn't there just a huge pileup in MI because forecasters missed on how cold or slippery or bad the conditions were going to be a couple of weeks ago?
