Speaking of bbq, have you been to Spiced Right in Roswell? They have this cornbread souffle that is like desert.

Had brisket. Very good. Tried smoked turkey. Good.
Tried Brunswick stew...too tomatoey for me. They are more of a Texas BBQ place, as opposed to Southern BBQ, so I'll give them a pass on that.

They were out of apple cobbler, so had some banana pudding. That was pretty good.

I have heard of those other places...haven't checked them out yet.

Moonies is definitely a road trip. Very close to the lake, there's actually a river/creek behind Moonies that runs into Lake Lanier (and a big marina not far away). Had some baseball games up there. Would be a good place to stop if you ever go to Falcons camp.
