I think you had to donate at least $5,000 a year to get them through MSU this year. If the Izzone and the SAF weren't the worst ran organization on campus, I would have a ticket for $40 in the student section. Oh well, at least the attention whores will be on TV, right?

You could always go to Indy, watch what happens. If UK loses, ticket prices could tumble. If Duke loses, I'm not sure, they travel pretty well, but they are still kind of small. Worst case scenario you are in Indy. Maybe sit in front of the stadium and see what their being scalped for, then go watch the game at the Noodle or somewhere nearby.

I think we should all pitch in to get OTPT to the game..........................on the condition that he wear a shirt to each game that says, "Can Izzo go to the NBA yet?" in huge letters on the front, and "Can't recruit. Can't Coach" on the back. Maybe add in some other gems like, "Seriously guys. Where is the future of this program at?"

I agree that if you're interested in basketball you should just go down and hang out. Might be able to find a cheap(er) ticket.. might not. Either way, you'll be in town - catch the game at the bar, etc.

If UK loses, the stadium will have some empty seats on Monday.

you could possibly find a compassionate soul, too - maybe and MSU dude who is sympathetic to your plight. I did that with some hard to get Springsteen tickets years ago. Took my Mom to the show and this one guy with two extra tickets hooked me up.

Look,

You've probably been, but if you haven't, Indy is just kick ass. They'll block the street off outside of the arena and have beer tents on it. It's just foot traffic. Go early, enjoy the day, have a beer, maybe you'll get lucky there. I wouldn't pay the prices you're seeing right now. Hold out, the problem is you have the asshole Kentucky fans that will drive those prices up.

OSU fans in football, Wisconsin fans in both sports, Indiana fans in basketball, Kentucky fans in bball. They'll buy the shit out of those tickets. When OSU and Indiana lost in the BTT, the scalpers around the arena were depressed. Unfortunately, you have two teams playing that will have fanatics trying to get in. I'd usually say wait till it gets later, but not when Kentucky is playing. Scalpers paradise, Kentucky Wisky.

So, if it's just insane, you can hang out at some great bars, watch the game and enjoy the atmosphere. Great town. Or, if you have big balls, buy two right now, go there and scalp them and make enough money to drink your ass off.
