Will you good people contribute and help me out?

Ignore those idealists that wrote the headline, the Constitution is outdated anyway.

Between 2009 and 2012, the Clinton Foundation raised over $500 million dollars according to a review of IRS documents by The Federalist (2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008). A measly 15 percent of that, or $75 million, went towards programmatic grants. More than $25 million went to fund travel expenses. Nearly $110 million went toward employee salaries and benefits. And a whopping $290 million during that period — nearly 60 percent of all money raised — was classified merely as “other expenses.” Official IRS forms do not list cigar or dry-cleaning expenses as a specific line item. The Clinton Foundation may well be saving lives, but it seems odd that the costs of so many life-saving activities would be classified by the organization itself as just random, miscellaneous expenses.

$500 million and we get to spend it like this:

$  75 million to give away.
$  25 million for travel expenses
$ 110 million for salaries for us and our friends.
$ 290 million for "other" expenses - so we get to spend it and not tell anyone how we blew it.

We really could have a few of those legendary hookers & blow parties with $290 million to spend.

Happens all the time. It's the dirty secret of foundations.

Ever wonder why Sean Hannity abruptly quit pimping his Freedom Alliance concerts to raise tuition for children of deceased vets? More of the money had gone to Hannity's travel and lodging than the $367K that had gone to scholarships of over $10.3M raised.

Can't have it both ways folks. You want to cackle about how smart folks like Sheldon Adelson and the Koch's are by using 501C's to set up PAC's and foundations and you scream like stuck hogs when people you disagree with take advantage of the same rules.

What will be funny is if someone other than Clinton, like a Chuck Webb ends up being the a Democratic nominee.

So how would someone, during a podcast where it's assumed you're going to have other guests on to deliberately talk about different social topics for the entertainment of those listening, go about pointing out something they see as unnecessarily whining and self-victimization.... without appearing to you like they're whining themselves?

I just feel really bad for the guy. People think differently from him and it makes him uncomfortable. Hopefully he can find a safe place where everybody thinks like him some day. It's so unfair that he has to encounter other's with different beliefs and values. So very unfair.

Why the condescension? Or the strawman?

The problem he's indicating is that the people he's speaking about have developed their opinion for the specific purpose of censoring people that have an opinion or comedy bit that doesn't fit the narrow politically correct SJW opinion.

You're projecting the problem he has with those he's speaking about back onto him.

Before too long the only entertainment available on TV will be constant reruns of "the history of minority accomplishments" and "how feminists saved the world".

This is not the topic I figured you'd be defending the mob of people trying to censor people because of their choice in entertainment. I always took you as kind of a freedom guy... not a Madhatter or TrapperGus type.

That's the new statement I always see people that defend censorship of anything politically incorrect... it doesn't matter that what these horrible, awful white males are complaining about being suppressed is comedy and free speech in general.

It's as if white males can't have an opinion about anything (unless it's one of self-hatred) simply because they're white males. And they have a whole horde of white hipsters to cheer on and push their (the SJWs) cause.

Chris Rock and Louis C.K. aren't white, either... and neither was Patrice O'Neal. They complained about the exact same thing.

I honestly do not even know who half of these people are.
Is Patrice O'Neal related to Shaq? Shit, was that a racist question (because they're both black)? Listen, I am not defending any one side. I see the world as a constant struggle between competing ideas that condition how people think and behave. I do my best to try to reject all that noise no matter where it's coming from.

The way things are right now (and I agree with you it's just a phase... at least I hope)... that probably is a racist question.

You don't know who half of those individuals are? They're some of the highest grossing comedians out there... now, if you're not someone who's much into that industry then it's understandable. But, then again, you mentioned "comedy being on the ropes is fiction"... so maybe it is, in fact, just not something you pay attention to.  I want a Foundation like this: 2943907172

Either way... comedians, in general, seem to be in agreement that this is a new challenge not yet seen in their industry. They've enjoyed being on the frontier of line-pushing opinions being expressed for the purpose of humor but also because it's an honest way of taking a position on a current social topic where people can laugh as well as think. Of course there's been incidents where a line has been pushed a little too far and one of them has to pay a price for that... it's always been bullshit... but with social media these days it's now a thing to try and get a comedian shut down because they expressed an opinion that isn't politically correct within the new "social justice warrior's" narrow view of proper opinions. Not just comedians but any sort of celebrity or individual in the public eye.

It's not a phase. History is about ideas. Ideas that tell people what to do. There is no such thing as free will - between our brains making decisions before we do, and ideas that manipulate how we think - we have never made an independent choice about anything. The good news is that nothing is your fault.

I don't even know where this is going. I am just saying there is no hope. You might as well just give up and root for UM or something.

I disagree... everything goes in phases. PC-ism, or whatever you want to call it... is going to morph into something else and then into something else. But it is what's happening now, so people are noticing it.

Once a crook always a crook. Right guys? Or is it different for Libs?

EXCLUSIVE: How Hillary Bullied Tiny Bangladesh To Help Clinton Foundation Donor

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton attempted to bully tiny Bangladesh to force it to end a corruption investigation of Mohammad Yunus, a long-time Clinton family friend and Clinton Foundation donor, according to documents The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group obtained.

The information comes from two Bangladeshi government documents generated as part of a request from the U.S. Congress. They shed new, disturbing light on Clinton’s use of hard-ball tactics against the poorest country in South Asia in order to help her millionaire friend and foundation donor.

The documents show Clinton deployed an array of high-powered Department of State, U.S. Embassy and World Bank officials to rescue Yunus, who faced financial mismanagement charges at a state-owned bank called Grameen Bank. He was eventually removed from the bank.

Yunus’ net worth is estimated at $10 million and his own U.S.-based nonprofits donated up to $300,000 to the Clinton Foundation, according to the foundation’s website.
