I got my sick ass 2000 PONTIAC GRAND AM GT up to about 105ish on some empty back road up north by my cottage in high school. Pretty stupid looking back on it. I probably pushed that car and the one I have now (Honda Pilot, soccer mom style) a couple other times but nothing crazy. I lost my need for speed early on luckily.

137 mph. pontiac trans am gta. 5.7 liter 350 engine. later on that night i flipped it in a corn field close to mount pleasant. at thanksgiving that year my mom cried when saying the prayer of what she was grateful for.

1987 Dodge Lancer Turbo ES. Got that sucker up to 116 very late one night in December 1987 on I-75 between Crooks and Square Lake.

If there was a thread for "Stupiest Shit You've Done as an Adult", I'd post it there. It would be near the bottom of my top 20.

ps. If you're not familiar with the Lancer, it was a bad-ass family car.

Which Ferrari?

My kid also drove a 458 while in Italy. I haven't put that up on youtube yet cuz it's pretty boring compared to the Lambo vid. He pisses me off. Only 21 but has driven a shitload of high end stuff. He got to have some fun on 696 last week with an F12. Drove a McLaren MP4-12C last month. I'm jealous as hell

My bday is in August, so round the end if may just before my 16th bday my pops surprised me with an 87 Grand National.... One of the coolest things he's ever done for me. We spent the next couple months working on it just about everyday/night. Great summer. By the time I got my license the car was running great and looked boss as hell. I had dreams of burnouts and backseat make out sessions dancing in my head. Fast forward to two weeks after I turned 16 and got my license and I'm on a long, flat, straight, basically deserted country road and I decided to drop the hammer. Buried the needle on the speedometer and just accelerated until the car started to shake and shimmy a bit and then backed off. After coasting for a bit I saw the distant image of some police lights in my rear view........"Fuuuuuuuuddddddggggee". Cop pulled more over and proceeded to arrest me at gun point. Turns out I was going 157 mph when I passed him about 3 miles back. Resulting ticket caused me to lose my license for 6 months..... Waaaa waaaaa. Pops sold the GN (for a tidy profit) and my next car was a beautiful cherry red '89 Plymouth Sundance. Motherf.........

Had a chance to drive a NASCAR stock car at MIS a few summers ago. We calculated that my average lap speed was about 165, so I figure I got up to about 180 on the backstretch. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an adrenaline rush. Just crazy.

My Maserati does 185..............

115-120 in a Mercury Cougar with a 428 engine and 120-150 in a 260Z. Both on public roads and looking back, too fast for the type of roads.
