Now Ellis has alcohol-related issues

Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo says he is "disappointed" in guard Alvin Ellis III after the player was charged with alcohol-related offenses this offseason.

Izzo said Wednesday that the matter will be managed "appropriately."

According to online records from the 54B District Court in East Lansing, the 20-year-old Ellis was charged with a misdemeanor count of underage purchase, consumption or possession of alcohol stemming from a May 2 incident. That charge was dismissed, and he admitted responsibility to a public littering charge, which resulted in fines of $615.

Looks like he littered to me. To be sure he should be hanged. I'd hate being a college kid in East Lansing today.

Lots of people will come down on this kid but I can't judge him for doing the same stuff I was doing in college and would do again if I had it to do all over again.

this isn't an issue... it would only be an issue if it were happening at any other school. And this, in no way, impacts our ability to demonstrate our consistent superiority when it comes to ethical dilemmas.
